Pack your bags for San Antonio!

After defeating UW-Platteville on Saturday night, the Duhawks returned to the Rock Bowl on Saturday to take on the Wheaton College Thunder for the Elite 8, and the chance to play in the Final Four in San Antonio, Texas. These two clubs met in the regular season, with Loras coming out on top 2-0. However, when you’re playing soccer on November 17, the stakes are much higher, and both teams were aware of this.

630 Minutes of Perfection

A cool night in the Rock Bowl would be the setting for Tuesday night’s match up between the 4th ranked Loras College Duhawks and the University of Dubuque Spartans. With UD’s loss to Coe last week, the best outcome they could hope for would be to earn a share of the 2012 Iowa Conference Men’s Regular Season title by knocking off the Duhawks. With conference leading goal scorer Nick McDonald, the Spartans planned to utilize his speed and offensive prowess to carry them to victory. Too bad Erik Berkowitz was ready to spoil their plans.
